Operation Open Arms on Naples Beach {WED Florida Real Wedding}

We recently received this submission from photographer Christine Vertin in Naples, Florida.  We love the story behind this wedding, as well as the beautiful images.  Christine told us about the wedding:

“I was approached by Sue Savino at the Naples Beach Hotel on behalf of Operation Open Arms to donate my services for a military wedding ceremony. I was honored and looking forward to it.

Tim (the Groom) had just returned home from his 4th deployment in Irag and serving ten years so far as Sgt. in the United States Army. Jeanette, the beautiful bride, got ready at my studio so we were able to shoot some fun images there and on the way to the venue.

Tim and Jeanette were wed on the lawn at The Naples Beach Hotel. Weddings are always incredibly beautiful at this location and the coordinators are wonderful to work with. I do not have images of reception coverage, as I was not asked to cover it. The images we did capture are beautiful and capture the love they have for each other.”

A hidden gem in Southwest Florida: The Inn of Naples

It is often challenging to find affordable accommodations AND charm, but you find them both at the Inn of Naples. We just love this hidden gem!

Centrally located in Naples, Florida, this 99 room property is just a few minutes from the pristine Naples Beaches. The prestigious Waterside Shoppes and the Philharmonic Center for the Arts, in Pelican Bay, are just 2 miles away, and guests can actually walk to several fine Naples Seafood Restaurants.  Situated in the Park Shore area of Naples, the picturesque Villages of Venetian Bay are just 5 minutes from the front door.

And with such close access to beautiful Naples Beach, the Inn of Naples makes for a perfect location for all your wedding guests attending your destination wedding.  You can even hold your rehearsal dinner or small wedding reception in their 775 sqare foot Function Room, where you are welcome to bring in your own caterer.  Open up the french doors of the Function Room to the pool area to add a tropical feel to your event.

photo by Maria Angela PhotographyIn our Inaugural post, we share a beautiful Sunset wedding at the Naples Beach Hotel with photos by Maria Angela Photography.  It also features WED Preferred Vendors Floral Encores, Kakes by Karen, and Reel Treasures Video.  Additional vendors included Connie Duglin Linen and Carrie Darling Events.

The beautiful sunset was a perfect backdrop as Danielle & Phil took a walk along Naples Beach as newlyweds.  We also love the use of purple up lighting to add glamour to the reception room and the amazing cascades of orchids in the dramatic centerpieces.  View the beautiful pictures below by Maria Angela Photography followed by a highlight film by Reel Treasures Video.
